The Metin2 family grows!

Dear community,

today we have some information about Publisher G4BOX, the operator of Metin2's Canadian server. They will be closing down the game this spring. The fan community will be integrated into the Gameforge family so that they can continue to take part in the adventures within the Dragon God's kingdom. The users that consent will have their accounts relocated to our US server. Canadian players will then profit from our extensive experience with Metin2 in over 18 countries and will receive access to our events and our community. All details regarding the relocation will be announced in the coming weeks.

Dear community!

Today we finally have some more information on our addition to the Metin2 family for you. For now we are planning to take over the G4Box servers as they are. This means that players will keep all their items. If certain items are not available in the Gameforge versions, we will enable these items for these two servers with different names.

Please keep in mind that we might adapt the servers to our version at a later point.

as we've just been informed, there are some news to be posted here:

As the moving of the G4Box servers to Gameforge is coming closer, we got some more information for you.
  • moving will take place at 9th of April (3 days downtime expected for the moving)
  • we will offer 2 servers with 4 channels each
  • for the beginning we will provide exactly the client as it is now for G4Box players; so no content updates, no fixes like in the Metin2.com version
  • at a later point we will change the version to our version which means that all differences between the two versions will disappear

Dear community,

I received new information about the upcoming moving of G4Box servers:

Dear Community!

As announced before the moving from the G4Box servers to the Gameforge Servers will happen at the 9th of April. On that day we will activate the new website where you can register your new account. Please make sure that you use the transfercode which you got from Z8 on that website to create your new account.

We will keep you informed when the new servers are online. The estimated time for the moving is 3 days (starting from the 9th). During these days we will also provide you a new Metin2 client. In addition we will also keep you informed about the status on the Internatinal Facebook page starting from the 9th of April.
